Towel dry hair. Using a blow dryer and flat brush, slowly brush hair from the root toward the end while drying, being sure to follow the brush with the hair dryer as you go. When dry, set with hairspray to tame flyaways and keep hair in place.
Towel dry hair. Apply a volumizing product, like a mousse. Dry hair completely, lifting hair at the roots to create volume (or flipping hair over and blow drying upside down). Once hair is dry, separate a small section of hair. Starting midway down the section, wrap hair around a large-barreled curling iron. Continue to do this, section by section, until you have curled all of the hair. Gently comb through curls with fingers or a brush. Finish with gel or hairspray.

I’d like a shoulder-length bob. I’d like the bottom of the hair to be even all the way around.”
